We map, meet, and experiment with startups. Together, we collaborate to test innovative solutions quickly and effectively, adopting the best technologies to serve energy, environmental sustainability, and our customers.


Our
Venture Client program

Through the Venture Client program, we collaborate with startups, scaleups, and innovative SMEs to address internal innovation needs and explore new technological and market opportunities. We test solutions both in the field and in the lab, together with colleagues from Edison’s Business Units. We support the concrete adoption of innovative solutions within the company to accelerate innovation and generate real impact on our products, processes, and services. Our stage-gate program includes five phases:

1. Application

Propose your startup and tell us about your innovative solution

2. Selection

We identify the proposals that best fit our business challenges

3. Co-design

We collaborate to develop a project that validates the perfect match between need and solution

4. Pilot

We test the solution in the field or in the lab together with our colleagues and customers

5. Adoption

We assess scalability and design a long-term collaboration

What we look for

We are looking for startups, scaleups, academic spin-offs, entrepreneurial teams, and innovative suppliers that develop solutions aligned with our priorities. Each proposal is analyzed by the Officine Edison Innovation team in collaboration with different company functions. Our goal is to generate synergies and build experimentation paths that create value for both Edison and the participating startups.

To apply, make sure you have:

A technology, product, or service that can contribute to innovation within Edison

A working product or prototype already tested or ready to be validated in a real-world context

A full-time dedicated team with complementary skills and an entrepreneurial vision

An established legal entity ready to collaborate with an industrial partner like Edison
